TESL / TEFL /TESOL courses
As the English language grows worldwide, opportunities to teach English in your OWN country or ABROAD has grown with this rise, in demand for English teachers. If you are thinking of a career move, something flexible term or would like the ability to travel and work overseas...you should consider taking a TESL / TESOL course.
JUST SO YOU KNOW: TESL is generally used in the US & TEFL is more common in the UK/Ireland however both are used to decribe the same course "Teaching English to people whose first language is not English".
The only requirement is that you are 18 years of age or older and interested in teaching. This certificate can open doors to working and living overseas and can be very rewarding for both yourself and the students you will be teaching. However you must be prepared for many adjustments and be serious about teaching!

Credentials for teaching ESL or EFL
The most widely recognized teaching credentials in the world are CertTESOL (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and the Cambridge CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults).
These qualifications are accepted throughout the world by companies, schools and organizations who employ English language teachers. Even though many students may not need this qualification to teach, it will certainly improve your job prospects with future employers.

Study at your own pace
If you don't have time to study at one of our locations and prefer to study online, we can offer onlineTEFL courses. This course covers the same basic material as our other teacher training programs but at your own pace.
It takes approximately forty hours to read the modules and answer the assignments. The course is typically completed in six to eight weeks, but can take more or less time depending on your pace. Each trainee is assigned a personal, professional tutor who is responsible for grading assignments and helping guide trainees through the program.
Since the TEFL Online course is conducted completely via Internet, there is no practicum for teaching or observing actual classes. Upon graduation, however, you receive a DVD of an authentic ESL class (plus a guided worksheet) to provide observation time of an experienced teacher.
